Specimen Holder C-HC1

Nikon recently discovered a wire product issue with the C-HC1 Specimen Holder that may, in rare occurrences, expose the operator to minor injury. In the interest of safety, Nikon will replace the defective part, free of charge, with an improved design.

Nikon has recently discovered that Nikon Control Unit DS-L2 for DIGITAL SIGHT series digital cameras for microscope has two kinds of program malfunctions.
Nikon Eclipse LV Series Industrial Microscopes

It has come to our recent attention that a defect has been found on the
power supply circuit board built inside the Nikon Eclipse LV series industrial
microscopes. On very rare occasions, this defect may cause the lamp to
extinguish and / or may generate smoke. Ten such incidents have been
reported to Nikon around the world.
