Cooling system comprises a heavy duty compressor operating with CFC-free cooling gas to reach -40°C,

Microtome

Strong, precision built microtome with external controls for the anti roll device, the coarse advance and the microtome drive.

 

Reproducible sections of 0 - 25 µm, throughout the entire temperature range. 0 - 10 µm in 1 µm steps, 10 - 25 µm in 5 µm steps.

Specimen holder can be manually orientated.

Debris extraction system of section waste at blade holder by means of vacuum pump, waste containers with filter as well as virus filter are fixed in the easily accessible chamber, waste container is easy to empty, operation of pump via footswitch
