Eye catching exhibition stand at IBMS wins award
Settembre 30, 2011
Nikon’s stand at IBMS 2011 was certainly the centre of attention during the recent IBMS congress at ICC Birmingham, which attracted 3,743 delegates over 3 days.
Nikon was very pleased to be awarded the first ever IBMS Best Space Exhibition Stand Award for its eye catching exhibition stand. The judging panel, comprising the IBMS, Step Exhibitions and the Company Members Committee, toured the exhibition areas on the opening day of the exhibition, judging stands for appearance, appeal, and professionalism. The award was announced at the company members AGM and presented to Nikon during the exhibition.
The Nikon stand showcased its complete range for the clinical laboratory – from the new Nikon Eclipse Ci and Eclipse Ni-U clinical upright microscopes and Nikon Mi digital macro imaging station to the high precision range of SLEE sample preparation equipment and state-of-the-art Hamamatsu NanoZoomer.
Robert Forster, General Manager Nikon Instruments UK, commented, “Nikon is very proud to accept this award which represents our whole ethos of participating in important conferences such as the IBMS. The planning for IBMS starts from the moment we book the space and takes a great deal of organisation from all of us. We all feel that this award embodies this team effort. The superb graphics, design and quality of stand build have made this a welcoming and informative stand for visitors, with a compelling story of Nikon’s heritage in making its own glass and objectives, and of course our evolution in microscope design and technology – culminating in the latest Eclipse Ni and Ci clinical uprights, which attracted a great deal of interest. I would also like to emphasise especially, the professional appearance and manner of our stand personnel, ready from 9.00am on day one. This has been an excellent IBMS for Nikon and receiving the 2011 IBMS Best Stand Award reflects how we feel the Nikon brand should be marketed.”
Nikon ran a prize draw each day for its chosen charity, Born to Soon, and would like to thank all the visitors who contributed to make this a successful fund-raising effort – with a special congratulations to the three lucky winners who each won a superb D3100 SLR camera! The winner on Monday was Sarah Owen from Kent, on Tuesday – Gail Carroll from West Park Hospital, Epsom and on Wednesday – Claire Glenister from Wycombe General Hospital, Wycombe
The award will be on display at Nikon House.
