Enhanced image quality with faster data transfer
Nikon Instruments has added a new control box, the DS-U3, to its renowned Digital Sight range. Featuring an IEEE1394b interface as well as a new device driver, further improvements have been made resulting in faster data transfer, enhanced image quality and a quicker response time.
An improved frame rate speed with high resolution enables a quick response for high speed live imaging, making it faster to change from live mode to capture mode, as well as faster image capture on live mode. Offering easy-to-focus and position adjustment to observe more details, the DS-U3 also allows two DSC camera heads to be attached at once and the user can switch between the two using NIS-Elements software. DS-U3 software provides automatic image processing resulting in improved image quality, improved colour reproducibility, smoother diagonal lines and defective pixel correction.
