Nikon Imaging Centers
Nikon Imaging Centers are state-of-the-art imaging facilities established as a partnership between key research institutes around the world and Nikon. NICs provide the latest in imaging technology to enable cutting edge research to the local scientific community and to stimulate imaging as an important modality for research. These Centers also enable enhanced bidirectional communication between users and Nikon. Feedback from users serve a critical purpose for Nikon in stimulating the development of new imaging technologies that can meet the rapidly changing demands of science. As such, NICs are frequently utilized as beta-test sites for new Nikon imaging systems. Users of the NICs are exposed to the highest level of training in optical microscopy and the Centers often serve as sources for educating the scientific community about optical microscopy, from its fundamental principles to the latest developments in imaging technology.
