AZ-C1 Macro Laser Confocal

New! AZ-C1 Macro Laser Confocal

Combining the AZ100 Multizoom and C1 Confocal Microscope, Nikon has designed the ultimate platform for in vivo imaging. Ideal for developmental biology, cell biology, stem cell and tissue research, the AZ-C1 allows the researcher to view large specimens in confocal mode. The AZ-C1 can not only capture fields of view of larger than 1cm, but also permits deeper confocal imaging than conventional microscopes thanks to its large working distance objectives. Whole organisms can be monitored and documented over time (for example, embryos) offering a wealth of continuous information on development or the organism’s response to experimental variables.

Wide Observation Area

The AZ100 high NA objectives specifically designed for macro imaging can capture wide fields of view larger than 1cm with outstanding resolution. This wide field of view enables the documentation of embryo development over time.

Low to High Magnification

Up to three objective lenses can be combined with a large optical zoom range. Capturing images from whole embryo to a single cell is possible with one lens. The addition of a motorized stage further expands imaging possibilities by allowing image capture in multiple fields of view.

Greater Flexibility

The C1 confocal system is expandable from easy to use personal point scanning systems to spectral point scanning systems which will separate closely associated fluorophores or even auto fluorescence.

Deep Imaging

The large working distance of the AZ100 objective lenses permit even deeper confocal imaging than a conventional microscope system giving the viewer more information than ever before.

BioStation IM Cell Incubation & Monitoring System

BioStation IM Cell Incubation & Monitoring System

The BioStation IM is a self-contained cell incubation and monitoring system that’s automated and easy to use. It maintains a cell friendly environment and reduces cell stress with no focus drift design making it ideal for long duration time-lapse imaging and optimizing stem cell differentiation protocols. The IM is a totally integrated system with temperature, humidity and CO2 control; internal motorized X, Y and Z for multi-point time-lapse acquisition; phase contrast and multi-channel fluorescence observation.

BioStation IM-Q

  • All-in-one time-lapse fluorescence imaging
  • Total environmental control
  • Automated multipoint time-lapse
  • Perfusion enabled

AZ100 Macro Imaging System

AZ100 Macro Imaging System

The AZ100 Macro Imaging System is the best of a stereo and compound microscope combined into single hybrid system that allows dynamic imaging of single cells or whole specimens. The microscope features an on-axis optical system for high resolution imaging and long working distance for tall samples in order to achieve simultaneous fluorescence and DIC, 3D reconstruction and time-lapse.

  • Broad magnification range enables imaging of specimens from single cells to whole animals
  • On-axis optical system facilitates true macro DIC and accurate 3D reconstruction
  • Imaging from 5x to 400x
